Old-time restaurant with the owner in the kitchen who treats you as if we were in her home, excellent mixed starters and simple first courses according to the seasons, prices below average, absolutely recommended.

This was a great restaurant that offered authentic local food in a nice, spacious patio. The owners are also very kind and considerate, especially if you know some Italian.

If you ever go to Barletta make sure to have a real Italian dinner at Maria's Il Valentino family restaurant. They don't speak English (well almost no one in Barletta does :D), but you do understand each other as Maria's incredible charm and kindness as well as delicious cooking break all the language barriers.

The old lady from the restaurant is very welcoming and nice. They don't speak English, but take every effort to make the communication and experience smooth. One of the finest pasta I've had. Excellent and will visit again if possible
